This Privacy Policy explains how Cardly ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Cardly iOS app.
Information We Collect
- Data you enter: Card and rewards tracking details you input in the app.
- Purchase data: Subscription and purchase status is handled by Apple through StoreKit so we can unlock Pro features.
- Advertising data (free tier): The app may show Google AdMob banner ads in the free tier. Google may collect device and ad-related information to serve and measure ads. See Google's policies for details.
How Data Is Stored
- Your app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework.
- The app uses Apple's CloudKit-backed storage to sync your data across your own Apple devices signed into the same iCloud account.
- We do not require account registration in Cardly.
Notifications
If you grant notification permission, Cardly schedules local reminder notifications on your device. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
Third-Party Services
- Apple services: iCloud/CloudKit (sync), StoreKit (in-app purchases/subscriptions), and App Store billing.
- Google AdMob: Used to display banner ads in the free tier.
Data Sharing and Sale
We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with service providers needed to operate app features described above (for example, Apple for purchases/sync and Google for ads in the free tier).
Your Choices
- You can delete app data by removing content in the app or uninstalling the app from your device.
- You can manage iCloud sync settings in your Apple account settings.
- You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Children's Privacy
Cardly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post updates on this page and revise the effective date above.
